Veting in Albania's police has officially started.
The 11 thousand effectives must submit their own declaration forms within the 30-day deadline, while expected to be established and the Foreign Education Commission.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Julian Hodaj said that, April 5th “for the passing and periodic assessment of state police officers, the Republican Guard and the Internal Affairs Service <x0m>, or as Vetting is widely known to the police, which will participate 11 000 state police officers... etc.
“This law envisions that already be established and the Research Commission is established, while to come to the aid of police workers to complete and be as clear as possible for completing the form of their own declaration has been established working groups in all police directors in the country, as the form will be completed by all police employees without exception and all must be clear on what they should declare. Initially, 300 high-ranking police employees will make their own statement to follow up with lower levels under the envisioned formula. The State Rating Commission is expected since early May, when the process of the declaration itself to assess the figure of police employees is closed, leaving police ranks those who will result in problems”, Hodaj said.
The process supports three criteria, the purity of the image, wealth and professional skills. The idea is that in the assessment all employees will go from the title to the simplest employee”, Hodaj said.
The grader's “System divides these employees into three categories, the high rank of 300 employees, the middle one that has 3,000 employees and lows that include about 9,000 employees. High degrees will be rated first. A commission called the Foreign Commission, who are members from outside the State Police system, will be used to assess high degrees. In all, 5 members come from the ILDKPI, 5 members from the ranks of professors, and 5 members are selected with members' competition. In the second phase is the Central Rating Commission, which will have 45 members, 30 of whom will be added to police ranks that have passed Vetting in the first phase. In the last phase, the rating commission will have 135 members, which will be added by the police ranks that successfully passed the second phase”, Hodaj told the ATSH.
“and then these commissions stop functioning, and the US continues periodic checks every three years”, Hodaj stressed.
