Chief head of the CRU “Prishtina”, Ilir Abdullah, has said that the water being produced in the Shblaj factory is very quality, and can be used for drink without problem.
He in an interview for television 21 has indicated water production, making all details transparent for consumers.
We can say that quality is within standards and water is good, and we're producing without the effort to keep supply 24 hours. Yesterday during the day, we had problems with the Iber Lepenci Canal and the Shqabaj factory, which for several hours has not worked. Now it's in operation and we have a 24-hour water supply, and of these setbacks, the biggest problems are in Drenas where from the same channel the Water for Processing factory, where actually this huge degree of turmoil, has already caused production to begin in late hours even there”, Abdullah said.
Abdullah has indicated that two villages in Fushe Kosovo have flood problems, but that, according to him, no pump stations have been endangered.
Kosovo's “In Fushë, it's about the village of Low Miradi, but fortunately there's no threat to the pump station to stop production, so there continues to be supply, and in Turin, there is a village that has problems due to floods. In other parts we have rates of turbulence, but it's a good luck that the lake is filling up and that gives us a stable supply during the summer period, he said.
Abdullah has denied that muddy water is running in citizen springs.
“It's not getting muddy water through citizen springs, water is a lot of quality, and as far as Batlava, Badovci and water are concerned it's high quality, so there's no problem with drinking water supply”, he said.
The head of the CRU “Pristina” has said they will be in touch with the Institute of Public Health, and outside standards will not produce water, and will also inform citizens of any change in supply.
We will also be in contact with the Institute of Public Health, and outside the norm will we produce a litre of water, and in time we will inform citizens, but for now modern factories in Badovc and Shkabaj, plus Albanian, give a quality water and we will have no problems and we will manage it very well”, Abdullah said.
Abdullah has appealed to citizens to save water and pay the fees, adding that even healing consumers will be much better.
“Uy 24 hours will continue, the appeal is to save water, so we don't come as in 2014. We prefer citizens not to misuse their drinking water. We don't want the division of citizens from the pipeline, but even consumers already have 24 hours of water and we need investments, and there are many plans we need to adjust our capacities, but we can't do without a good approach to the CRU Pristina, but we have to serve consumers even better”, Abdullah said.
We're waiting for Kosovo to do 24 hours of water definitely, and they deserve those citizens because they pay very well the bills. With Fushe Kosovo I can freely say that we cover 40 per cent of Kosovo with water 24 hours”, he has said.
