VV: Serbs gathered to tear down Kosovo's state on the inside, just like Bosnia

As in Bosnia in 1991, they gathered in Kosovo to destroy the state from within

Today, 120 representatives of the 10 Serb majority municipalities gathered in northern Mitrovica, at a meeting similar to a Serbian National Council in Kosovo. Mitrovica is the municipality where ethnic cleansing of Albanians has continued even after the war by Serbia's parallel criminal structures, which have expelled over 11,000 Albanians and whose return is still in the way. Much the same has been done by Serbia's majority Serb municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina on April 26th 1991, when 14 municipalities gathered there to establish their “Zajednica”, which, through genocide, was converted to “Republika Srpska”, which holds the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina hostage and defunction.

Not by chance, today's meeting in Mitrovica was held on March 28th, the date known as “State Day” in Serbia, since it had announced its new constitution on March 28th 1989, shortly after a review of Kosovo's autonomy. The meeting took place in the same room where two days ago Kosovo police arrested Marko Djurovic, the so-called head of the Kosovo office near the government of Serbia, for illegal border crossings. Today it has been understood by all that this huge arrest has been intensible in co-operation, well-planned and planned at Thaci-Wucciq secret dinner, which has already been made public by Austrian diplomat Petritsch in his interview at “Deutsche Welle”. The arrest of Djuric, co-ordinated between Thaci and Vuciqi, was in order to give Serbia's List and Serbia's structures in Kosovo a pretext (even though weak) to begin the foundation of “Zajednica”.

The talks held today were extremely similar to those in the 80s. One after another, speakers from several Kosovo municipalities inhabited by Serbs and from several different Serbian political subjects brought back slander and serious insults on Albanians, on Kosovo and on legitimate state institutions, calling them terrorists. Meanwhile, Serbia was referred to as home. The “defence was requested by the Serbian state of Albanians and was promised. The formation of “Zajednica” in the form of ultimatum, as a defence mechanism and promised its foundation on April 20th, when five years are completed by the first Parations for normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, or Thaci-Dacic Agreement, as it is best known.

Movement V DEPENSE! condemns the supremeist and shovetism of Albanians who were publicly told at this meeting. We also condemn their positions against the country's institutions. Today's meeting and positions expressed there are contrary to the rule of law, the legal framework and constitutional order of the country, aiming at the direct violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo. Citizens of Kosovo, the country's institutions, Albanians across the country, cannot sit back and allow the creation and foundation of “Zajednica”. This project has been rejected by the largest civic petition and with the largest civic protests in post-war Kosovo, as well as once rejected by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo in the December 23rd 2015 verdict, confirming that “Zajednica” conflicts with 23 articles of the Kosovo Constitution. “Zajednica” is a politically dead project and we cannot allow its resurrection.

We call on Kosovo Serbs not to fall prey to the political and hegemonic manipulations of Serbia and its structures in Kosovo, but to exercise their civic and political rights in Kosovo near Albanians and Albanians, through the rule of law. Only in this way is shared development and progress guaranteed.

Movement V ENVENTION! calls on the country's institutions to stand up to Kosovo's sovereignty and territorial integrity to prevent initiatives like “Zajednica” that ruin the state of Kosovo from within. Also, dialogue should urgently be launched below with Kosovo Serbs for the development of the country and the welfare of all.
