Time family biographer provides new details about Rita's background

You've made a book on Besim Sahatciu, Rita Ora's grandfather (Sahatciu). Why did you get this initiative for biography when you lived in Albania and her grandfather lived in Kosovo?

It's a very good question. It wasn't my initiative to write this book, because even when I was told to write it, I reacted as if with half a joke, “more means people in Kosovo what this southern person wants to do with a North Top character, another religion, and make this biography, besides some banal” interest.

The idea and the foot on foot was by composer Achilles Koci. This was my friend who I met at international conferences in Zagreb, and we were friends. It was Achilles who introduced me to Rita Ora's father and to Bekim the other son of Sahatchi and we were friends. Rita's father's family is both traditional and modern. Faithful children are also educated and have a modern family artist, such as Rita Ora, but it too is very simple in communication, very kind and educated.

The Sahatciu (Ora) family adapts well to life in England. The women of this family are real Albanian ladies. Likewise, the children of Bekim, Rita's uncle, are educated. The faithful has finished two faculties, one for English and one for the economy. And Rita, her niece has another sister, Elena, who took business and a little brother, Don, about 17-18.

How did the first contact with their family begin?

- I met a couple of people I had to work with, but on a condition that they allow me to have as many meetings as possible to come to me with as many people as possible to talk to those who worked with Faith, those who met Rita Ora's grandfather. So, too, friends and so forth, because the goal of becoming as complete and reliable as his biography is. So that everyone I met would draw as many of his characteristics and qualities as possible, one image, the other's way of working, the heart, one family and origin, so that his physical and spiritual portrait could come as full as possible.

Were you personally acquainted with Rita Ora's grandfather, had you ever spoken face - to - face with him when he was in Kosovo?

- No way. Faith died at the age of 75 in 2005. He was born in 1935 in Pec, where the famous Pec Assembly was held. The Sahatciu family is not from Kosovo of origin, their beginning is from Shkodra.

Really, the first time I heard that?

- The Sahatciu family originated with the Kazazi family of Shkodra. More than 100 years ago, they went beyond the Drini and stayed there, but maintained communication. When Albania's lands were divided in 1913, they were eventually left out of the border. So these broke ties with Shkodra and then went to Pristina, exercised the voice of the watchmaker, who was then used Turkish Sahatciu. Now Rita Ora made her last name in Albanian, a word that we, and most of the world, received from Latin. Much information was filled out by the interview of his wife, Asa, who described them with great modesty but with much truth.

What else did Beth, Rita's grandmother, tell you about its origin?

- I didn't do it during this conversation because I didn't insist. This evacuation took place over 100 years ago. It's a normal thing, like my family, Kictyk, that 200 years ago was from Mokra. Albanians have always moved like this.

There's also a picture of Faith in Kosovo in your biographic book with Ismail Kadare in 1971. How did this meeting happen?

- Kadare went there and they had friendly meetings, all Kosovars were curious about knowing Kadare, because he was known ever since. Faith also had friends Azem Shkreli and Naum Prifti from Albania. Sahatciu's confidence has also come to Albania at the time. In his profession he receives national and international awards. I in the '70s was a professor in PRishina, in the context of the exchange of teachers who then took place with Kosovo, but did not have contact with Besimi myself. But his name was very well known because he was known as polyglots, as the cytics of art and the newcomers of the screen and stage. That's why I wrote the title A life for the screen and the stage. Besmi had studied in Belgrade, where the heads of Slovenia and Croatia were culturally developed because they had relations with Austria, unlike other former Yugoslav countries that were under Turkey's influence. He's been a lot of filmmakers and he's done a lot of movies. It's all in the book.

What about the son of Faith, Faithful One, having artistic gifts?

There's no artistic gift, it's not art, but it's a diligent art consumer.

How did he show you the Rita of the Hour?

)Rita, when she was a little girl, was a short - lived, ordinary child, like all children, and she gradually got to know the songs she sang. They were impressed with the voice, and the voice was heard by specialists, and she went up with her art, yet without turning 20. Despite that, Rita keeps her family traditions, and maintains warm contact with Albanians. In the family, it is different from what appears in extravagant clothing. Many music experts noticed her gifts and then became well - known in the world. In Rita Ora's family, I was told that Grandpa Besimi told the children that “and all Albanians are the same blood. You must walk in life, but you must remember the links and roots of your”. So her grandmother Besa lives in London once she returns to Kosovo to the roots.

And Rita Ora's grandmother, Besa, how is Rita's childhood?

- The bride, of course, tells of the love she had for him. When she speaks, you are impressed with the wealth of the Albanian language. Rita's two grandparents spoke with the perfect literary standard. Beth is a lovely woman. She has described her faith as a compassionate father, related to her family.
