He has completed his studies on Textile and Fashion Design at the School of Fine Arts.
In a proposal for Periscope, the 24-year-old tells how he began his design career.
I've been attracted to everything that has to do with beauty. This has prompted me to continue my arts high school in Pec, in the direction of textile and fashion. Then I continued my studies at the University of Arts in Tirana”, he confessed.
In addition, Emera shows how after her studies, thanks to the sheer desire for employment and the many demands of different people, she has opened an athelia in the city of Peja.
In that space of work, he creates designs for his clients.
The guy I like is the classic and delicate with simple handwork and details that make a dress unique. The pieces or materials that he used are tylles and laces, but in some cases I like to work with a little bit of hardery”, he says.
He shows where he finds inspiration for his work.
I find out everything around me every day. People on the street, the colors of the seasons, the architectural forms of buildings that help me develop sketches for any collection or clothing for a client”, he claims.
The 24-year-old Peja shows how he is inspired by the famous clothing designer Houte Couture, Elie Saab.
What he most likes about him is that his clothes are worked to the last detail of perfection.
I'd like to create a given collection. I get details used by designers in the fashion industry, but I always put them together and adapted them to my style and way of creating, so I can get something of mine out, but it's opening up with the present triangle”, Emera relates.
Leon tells us how Master's degree has accomplished the collection MINIMAL, of which he claims to be inspired based on the complete concept of minimalism in art and fashion but also on architecture, where sketches of the collection have also been realized.
I've used two colors, white and black, which mostly fit into minimalism. The materials are also simple for dressmaking. A simple, medium-sized wire in strength is used with the purpose of creating shapes as if they were drawn by the free hand to give the idea of staying in the air. The white material, on the other hand, is a thick tire that has a facial sense. This collection has been the finalization of two-year Master's studies and has been presented with a sculpture performed in the Gallery. FAB of Art University”, he concludes./Periscopi
