The model show “Justice in Kosovo” broadcast the facts of how state bodies are continuing to fail in dealing with domestic violence cases.

Kosovo's “Justice Reported the tragic narrative of Hajrie Aliu, the victim of domestic violence, which had been beaten and tortured by her former husband, Enver Zeka, for several years.

I was beaten every day by my husband when he didn't beat me in the evening he beat me up in the morning when he didn't beat me up in the morning. Instead of my uncle's bread, I'm hinger”, Hajria has told of Kosovo's “Justice “.

Exhausted by the constant violence that her husband exerted toward her, Hayria had repeatedly tried to end her life. As Kosovo Justice 911 broadcast, Hajria had attempted suicide even when she was six months pregnant.

I tried to kill myself. But I stopped, and I remembered that I died, but I still had the child left alive in my womb, and he showed me.

And I can't eat normal <x)

Hayria indicated that unable to keep her son, since she does not have a home where she lives, she has sent her son to her former husband.

I have a son in my husband, I've been able to keep him, without work, I don't have a home, rent is expensive. I never meant to come in with my son, after a settlement where he had enough noise to bite a kid's bread.

She has shown that neither her family supported her, and today she is left alone in the street and away from her son.

My family didn't even want to know, never supported me”, she told me.

As Kosovo Justice “broadcast, researchers have found that the court and prosecution had not taken the case seriously. In some cases the court had even made very strange decisions.

The case judge had made two decisions for one day. With the first man of Hajri had been sentenced to three months in prison on bail, while in the other, he had pronounced a judicial remark -- an unusual practice in Kosovo judiciary.

The judge and the prosecutor, for accused Enver Zeka, had not been aware that the same court had filed a lawsuit with which he sentenced him to 200 euros in fines for easy bodily injury. The most strange in this act writes that Enver Zeka had constantly beaten his wife and had finally been pronounced a fine of 200 euros,

As Kosovo's “Justice in Kosovo” broadcast, To Enver Zeka in Pristina's Founding Prosecutors are depositing 7 criminal cases. Six subjects have been opened in court against him. In three cases the court has decided and the sentences are: beating and hurting, where the penalty under law is envisioned to be 1 to 5 years in prison, the Podujevo court pronounced the penalty a 200-euro fine; In the second case where the work was once again slight bodily injury and condemnation under the law is set forth for between 1 and 5 years in prison, the sentence is conditional; and in the third case the work was conscripted so that the penalty is provided by law to be 6 months to 5 years in prison, only judicial remarks were pronounced.

Justice Minr Hoti says the decision on the same day to pronounce the same two types of sentences charged -- one on bail and the other with judicial remarks -- based on law.

“In P.r.495/2010 class for minor criminal offenses I have pronounced a three-month prison sentence on bail for a year's verification, after the trial for minor offenses, I have continued with P.N.1483/2012 for the criminal offence that I was in charge of, the defendant for this criminal offence has been found guilty and pronounced judicial remarks. The defendant at the time was a personal parent of the young child, a user of social assistance. Taking into account all these circumstances and the best interest of a child the court has taken these judgments based on the KKP and on the actual situation”.

As Kosovo Justice “broadcast”, prosecutor Armend Hamiti, who had represented both charges in the court, had agreed to sentences pronounced by Judge Miner Hoti. In no case had he complained about the sentences handed down to the accused.

The accused's “in both cases has pleaded guilty and this is taken as a extenuating circumstance”, the prosecutor Hamiti has declared for “Justice in Kosovo”.
