(8 years ago)Kosovo Police, namely the Border Police Department investigation sector in Pristina, assisted by other units of the Kosovo Police, under the order of the competent court's preliminary procedure judge, has conducted police control operation at three different locations in the Pristina region. During the police operation, considerable quantity of drugs suspected of smuggling goods with Serbian banners and expired deadlines have been found.
Customs officials and inspectors' officials for products and medical equipment have provided their assistance during the raid, which have recorded and seized alleged drugs.
A suspected person has been arrested in this operation and after his interview, at the order of the prosecutor of the case by the competent prosecution, the same has been released in regular procedure.
According to the initial assessment, the value of the classified drugs is worth about 20 million euros.
