First reaction comes from Ali Ahmeti, following Ivanov's opposition to the Language Law

Even though Macedonia's president, George Ivanov, has threatened not to sign the Law on Use of Languages, DUI leader Ali Ahmeti confirmed that Albanian would be formalised even without his signature. DUI leader Ali Ahmeti in a statement for public television said the Law for Use of Languages, adopted by Macedonia's Parliament, is a historic achievement for Albanians, and with this law a very important chapter of the Ohrid Agreement has been closed.
The “is a major achievement, a truly historic achievement for Albanians in Macedonia, but also for Albanians living in their spaces in Kosovo and Albania. This language will serve all Albanians, and it is also in behalf of our Macedonian fellow citizens, because every second resident of this country speaks differently from the language of our Macedonian fellow citizens. The adopted law benefits stability and peace. A very important chapter of the Ohrid Agreement has been concluded with this law, which came as a result of the sacrifice and resistance of the Albanian people. There are heroes for the language, there are martyrs who gave their lives in 2001”, Ahmeti stressed.
Regarding Macedonian President Ivanov's warnings, that he will not decree the Law, Ahmeti stressed that Ivanov is obliged to sign the Law, otherwise violating this country's Constitution.
Mr. Ivanov, I have ordered him to decree the Law in the second vote. He could not exceed himself to be a legitimate representative of all citizens of this country. With third-read vote in Macedonia's Parliament, Mr. Ivanov has the constitutional obligation to decree the law because otherwise he violates the Constitution and the laws of this country. We estimate that he now maintains a political and anti-Albanian stance. The law will be implemented, signed or signed by Ivanov”, Ahmeti has added further.
Macedonia's opposition's tough move during the adoption of the law, Ahmeti described the VMRO- The DPMNE to reason before its voters.
The opposition's response will not help V MRO-DMNE's to improve its image, not even its electorate, nor will it serve VMRO to improve the image in Albanians in Macedonia. I have not expected to vote, nor have VMRO applied for the law on the use of Albanian. I consider that such a reaction from the Macedonian opposition occurred to reason before its voters”, Ahmeti underlined.
