In the first ten minutes, the teams were cautious, but the team from the capital was able to close it ahead (17-23).
In the second quarter, the Pristina committed themselves to narrowing the gap and, at one point, managed to even the outcome, but Pristina again created the advantage and went on vacation with 34-38 results.
In the third faction, there was a Union effort that managed to get through the upper hand, and this period ended with 55-54.
The tight fight of both teams continued in the last quarter, in which the winner was placed. The difference was narrow, while the result was even in some cases.
And finally, the Kosovo Cup winner for this edition was proclaimed Union/ Sigal Pristina that defeated the Union/ Sigal Pristina with a score of 74-77.
We remember that Sigal Pristina was the defending champion of this race, as it was the winner of the Kosovo Cup and the previous edition.
The capitals have already been decorated 13 times with this trophy (from 1991 to 2018), while the team from Prizren has won the Kosovo Cup in basketball only once.
We stress that this edition was developed for the first time at the Kosovo Cup final with this format (in February 28th 4th) in gym “13 June” in Suhareka.
Final 8 was previously organised in Gjakova in 2014, but not in this format. This edition, host of the Kosovo Cup final 8, is Golden Eagle Star.
