Through a media report, police say they have applied the common police control measures in the assembly, but have not faced alleged means.
Kosovo's “Police with its police officials have applied the common measure of police control to Kosovo's Parliament entry, but have not encountered any suspected means during the entry of personalities to the Assembly. Reference to public views and information provided is understood that several minutes after the start of the scheduled parliamentary session have thrown alleged tear gas weapons”, police indicated.
Police say all police actions have been implemented in the form of legal authorisations, while to intervene within the parliamentary session requires the decision and request of the head of the Kosovo Republic of Kosovo's Parliament.
“Ensure citizens and broad opinion that individual actions of MPs have no connection with police officials who are in charge. Based on the competencies and legal authorisations it has, Kosovo Police are taking its investigative actions towards uncovering how the suspected tool is introduced in the Kosovo Assembly Hall, as well as everything else about tear gas drop”, police reports.
Police are constantly co-operating and co-ordinating with the State Prosecutor to undertake all necessary follow-up measures in relation to MPs who have thrown tear gas.
Despite all the difficulties manifested by Kosovo Police continue with the fulfillment of its legal duties and obligations.
Following the drop of tear gas hearings has been cancelled and referred to the circumstances and situation created in the RKS House environments where the suspected tool was launched, Kosovo Police in consultation and co-ordination with the competent prosecutor has undertaken all necessary legal actions for investigating and verifying suspected means.
Such a tear gas drop situation has been repeated even during the continuation of the second part of the parliamentary session, by the appointed MPs./ Periscope
