Edward Snowden gave the alarm that the American security agency NSA is tracking all Bitcoi users around the world and that there was a secret source of information that would help track people who send and accept Bitcoin.

Such data enabled the agency to collect and analyse global Internet data using software, which reportedly offers anonymity for users, says the NSA report from March 2013.

The NSA has collected the data for bitcoin users and that their account numbers are on the internet, as well as numbers for identifying their equipment on the network, the MAC addresses, Kosovo Press broadcasts.

The NSA secret program, which was involved in bitcoin monitoring, had the code name “O AKSTAR” and enables communication monitoring and collecting data transmitted through optic cable.
