Kosovo has negotiated from 1945 to 2007 to oust Serbia. Thaci from 2011 is negotiating to return”

In a writing at the Time portal, publicist Veton Surroi has criticised the actual format of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, writes Periscopi.

According to him, a process [the negotiator] has been running since 2011, which has no framework, no principles or limits. He has particularly criticised President Thaci, who is participating in these negotiations to gain personal advantage.

He has called the whole process a hole in which Moghrin, Thaci and Vuchchi dig further.

Surroi estimates that they must change three paradigms in order to achieve any change in the negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia.

He says it is currently being negotiated through a Russian model where frozen conflicts formalise over a long period of time. As their paradigm that needs to be changed is that of the EU's asymmetry.

“In today's normalisation context concerns an EU position on Serbia (membership in the EU) and many controversial attitudes towards Kosovo (from membership until non-existence as a state). The EU cannot offer Kosovo membership (because this country is not ready for it), but a good start would be if it unanimously recognises the right to exist as a state. ” He's articulating.

Meanwhile, the third one has to do with the passage of Kosovo as the most interested equipa for this negotiations on political consensus. Surroi says Hashim Thaci has turned the country's institution of representation into negotiations “as a piper game in front of railway stations; an effort to create a personal advantage through optical fraud”.

To achieve this, he believes that we must stop digging further.
