That statement Hoxhaj made after Slovak Foreign Minister said Slovakia would not recognise Kosovo, not because of Serbia, but because of principles.
Hoxhaj said there is no reason for foreign policy or political argument not to recognise Kosovo.
“Slovakia must recognise Kosovo on the same principles that 23 BiH states have recognised. There is no foreign policy principle nor political argument not to recognise Kosovo's independence”, Hoxhaj wrote in Rwitter.
Otherwise yesterday, Slovakia's foreign minister has said that without agreement between Serbia and Kosovo there is no EU for Serbia.
Slovakia continues to remain one of five states that do not recognise Kosovo as a state.
