False news on Twitter spreads faster and farther than the truth, while this mass imbalance creates people than so-called world computer software for internet service communications.
Almost 126,000 reports have been verified in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology research that have shared three million people on Twitter from 2006 to 2017, while researchers have confirmed that 70 percent is greater credibility than among users of this social network will share false news.
Study published in “magazine Syns” is one of the most comprehensive efforts to assess the dynamics for spreading fake news to social networks.
Twitter and other social networks like Facebook are under the pipe of US authorities and other international regulators, who claim that social networks do little to prevent the spread of false news.
Researchers have noticed a rise in false news during the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016.
Even though the study is focused on Twitter, researchers have said their findings can be applied to social media platforms, including Facebook.
