Erdogan adopts controversial election law, irritates opposition parties

Article 26 change of the package was published in the official newspaper on March 16th, after it was signed by Erdogan.
The changes predict that political parties will be able to form pre-election alliances, introducing a number of important changes to the Electoral Law, reports “Hurriyet”, Periscopi broadcasts.
Key opposition parties like the Republican People's Party (CHP) and the opposition Democratic People's Party (HDP) focused on the Kurdish issue have expressed their concerns, warning that this change could jeopardise election security.
By law, the passout envelopes will be counted valid, while <x0 <x0vendosje” of the ballot boxes will be possible due to “security arrangements”.
The law also changes the composition of polling commissions, appointing senior state officials as head of commissions instead of representatives of political parties. /Periscopi/
