Called “Fight the foreign ship” by Musk, Tesla Gigafactory 1 is the largest battery factory and is located in the Nevada desert.
It's being built with ambitious targets to become the largest building in the world, at 550,000 square meters (5.8m sq ft), as well as producing almost the equivalent of the current lithium-on battery production.
