Deputy minister gets promises of Kosovo membership in international culture organisations

In the wake of meetings that Deputy Prime Minister Rexhep Hoti held in his visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the Parliament of the Book Fair in Leipzig, he has met with Republika Albania's Minister of Culture Mirela Godbaro-Furgi, then Aleksandar Bogdanovic, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Montenegro, as well as a meeting with Gerhard Kowar, director Kultur Austria, centre of cultural education for Austria's schools and collaboration with Eastern and Eastern European countries.

“Theme empty discussions on these meetings was the policy of the book that institutions design and implement, in supporting the publication of the book, its purchase and distribution, as well as its translation into other languages by bringing cultures closer together through written literary art.

Also, within the context of the talks, Deputy Prime Minister Hoti has called for the support of all sides for Kosovo to join the network, where Albania, Montenegro and Austria are members. Hoti has received membership support, except for Serbia.

Hoti has informed Kosovo's commitment and preparations its institutions are making to join the U NESTO, by all means, has demanded that Kosovo partners and allies lobby on every sphere of influence for Kosovo to participate in this extremely important United Nations organisation. The deputy minister received the promise that the parties will commit to helping Kosovo on this road.

Deputy Prime Minister Hoti, in the name of the MKRS and Government, has thanked representatives of the states he has met with for supporting and co-operation that have shown in the report with the Republic of Kosovo not only in the field of culture but also in other prisms, thereby directly affecting the strengthening of the state of Kosovo”, media reports.
