In Pristina today, the second regular Convention of the Egyptian Liberal Party (PLE) has been held, with which party chairman Veton Berisha has been re-elected, becomes known through a media communique.
This election assembly was conveyed with discussions by participants about the position of the Egyptian community in Kosovo society and institutional responsibility towards the community. With the presence of 109 delegates from PLE branches in Kosovo and Diaspores, as well as the audience present, the party's new statute and programme has been adopted. In this case, the majority of votes were re-elected president of the Egyptian Liberal Party for the 4-year term, Veton Berisha”, said the communique.
Furthermore, “approved the composition of the 45-member central leadership. This assembly reflected in a deep reform of the PLE's functioning for the following mandate”.
Re-elected Chairman Veton Berisha pledged that receiving the new mandate is a responsibility for him and said he would be committed directly by impacting the positive change of the position of the Egyptian community in Kosovo society, as well as by taking concrete actions to empower Kosovo's citizenship and internationalisation.
