According to this party, their activists should be acquitted since the Special Prosecutor had unjustly accused Frasher Krasniqi, Adea Batusha, Attik and Arifin and Egzon Halit.
Amateurs Must Be Innocent
The Court of Appeals has suspended the detention measure against three activists convicted of the attack in the Assembly today, thus easing an injustice that began since August 29th 2016, when six Movement activists had been arrested.
This court has assigned freedom protection measures to activists Egzon Halit, Frasher Krasniqi, and Atfi, who the Special Prosecutor has falsely charged with committing criminal acts, and with them, Adea Batusha. All four of them together were sentenced to 21 years in prison.
Although the act has only to do with the interruption of the detention measure is a good step for activists to regain the unjustly kidnapped freedom. This measure is not enough and we demand complete release and their innocence. This is the least it can be done to correct the injustices caused in a process that has so far taken 18 months.
Justice must triumph over the influence and political dictatorship” is said in the reaction of the Vetevendosje Movement.
