Someone in indirect Serbia is acknowledging that Russia may have a role in Ivanovic's murder. It's about the leader of the Social Democrat League of Vojvodina, Nenad Canak. He is familiar with his statements that Serbia must recognise Kosovo.
Canak said I don't know if the Russians killed Oliver Ivanov. But according to him, the Serbian politician's murder mostly went to the state of Russia.
I never said the Russians killed Ivanoviqi, but again I'm saying that Russia's interests are very close to bringing about instability with such political killings. The reason is the other thing: With an unstable Balkans, Russians appear as firefighters. Firefighters don't have jobs without fire”, Canak said of Free Europe.
“I think we will have more concerns in northern Kosovo, which will go hand in hand with Putin's administration, because this will lead to strengthening pro-Serb extremist forces in Serbia”, says the leader of the Social Democrat League of Vojvodina.
He has said further that such clashes could occur even in Serbia after the March elections.
“The outbreak of such confrontations could happen even in Belgrade after the martial election. I am prepared to send these information to Serbian authorities as well,”, he has told away about Radio Free Europe in Serbia.
Canak reiterated that the Russian humanitarian centre in Nis is a Putin military base.
The <x0 Centre in Nis is one of the most serious evidence of Russia's expansionist policy”, Canak says.
Unlike Canak, it is recognised by the biggest critics of Serbian nationalist politics.
