Serbia has earmarked 200m euros for Nisão Merdar highway

Serbian Construction Minister Zorana Mihajlovic has declared that by the end of the year the Government of Serbia will be able to announce the tender for construction of the Nis-Merdar highway.

Minister for Rts has said Serbia has completed the necessary documentation and that investment on this road, which is still called the “Peace Road”, is 200m euros.

“In the budget we have allocated about 200m euros for the Nisão Merdar highway, which is also important to our people in Kosovo“, she said, broadcast Koha.net.

Serbia is developing serious policy and we have no problem with money. On Nis'Merdar Road, design documentation has been completed. Serbia is the only country from Southeast Europe that has prepared projects and provided the tools”, it has stressed.
