The accounts of over 55 thousand users of the Snapchat network have been made public, following a password-scrowing fraud.
The attack took place in July last year through a fraudulent Klkviral website.org, which has sent mountain links to Snapchap users to access their accounts.
Snapchat has warned network users to change their passwords as a result of the attack. It is now unclear how long the accounts of Snapchat users have been exposed to public, while the fraudulent site has been blocked, writes The Verge.
Snapchat has so far taken a series of precautionary measures to protect users from fraud and block suspicious sites, but it does not seem to have been so successful.
