From profitable companies that once filled the state budget chest, they have become “welcome” for employing party militants, for the benefit of individuals and certain interest groups, writes today “Koha Ditore”.
This has also been witnessed in permanent agreements by political parties for the ruling coalition, where, in addition to the division of ministers and deputy ministers, it is also decided on the division of office in public enterprises.
Political appointments to management boards, employment without criteria, malmanagement, increased operational spending over a decade, failure to comply with global development trains, and the lack of adequate investment has affected companies to face serious financial situations.
Anti-politicalisation of nepotism, besides civil society, has been declared international institutions, which have urged institutions not to put their hands on public enterprises.
