The deputy director of the Kosovo Regional Police Directorate in the north, Besim Hoti, has said there is still nothing concrete about the identity of Oliver Ivanovic's potential assassins, while ensuring that police will also investigate Serbian journalist Stefan Cvetkovovic's claims, who has referred to a police officer as the possible assassin of Ivanovic.
Kosovo police in the north have again appealed to citizens of the northern part of Mitrovica to help whiteen Oliver Ivanovic's murder.
Police say there is no progress regarding Oliver Ivanovic's potential killer, though the Workers' Group, which is investigating the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, is working indefinitely.
Deputy Commander of the Kosovo Regional Police Directorate in the north, Captain Besim Hoti, has said the investigations are under difficulties, so police have again sought citizens' assistance.
We prefer to the citizens that if they have any information about the case of Oliver Ivanov's murder, we will anonymously exchange information with them. We are currently in the phase of investigations that process the available data that has been collected, responsible for the evidence collected, while in the second phase of investigations the working Group is authorised to investigate the case under prosecutor's jurisdiction. I can't say anything new about the investigation, since we have no concrete information about the perpetrators. It's about discretion of police working in the investigation unit, so we as management don't have a lot of access to information, which is understandable because of the sensitivity of the case”, Hoti said about “Zerin”.
Hoti has also talked about claims by a Serbian journalist who at a media conference in Belgrade has shown three photos, among them, as he has said, is Oliver Ivanovic's killer.
