Today PDK deputy once wrote songs about Sisters Mustafa (Photo)

For the third consecutive mandate, Xhevahire Izmaku is listed as MP by the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, but in reality she is a professional poet, while years earlier she was also involved with musical lyrics.

In a pronouncement for Telegrafi, questioned about her past as poetry and writing, Izak said she still keeps doing it and loving it.

And I have a total of four books of poetry published. I've written lyrics of many songs, where I remember that of “Mysteries” Sisters Mustafa, who loved me very much, or “Chika of boxer” of singer Monica Salihu, but many other songs. I didn't do text writing intensively, but I wrote at will, as their friend”, said Xhevahire Izmak for Telegrafi.

Asked whether she continues to be taken, or there are offers to rewrite music texts, the PDK MP said this remains only in her past.

I don't do song texts anymore and I don't accept invitations to write, because I'm engaged with the doctorate, which I'm preparing in Tirana for “Public Relations”. I also continue my third term as a PDK deputy, where I am present in the Assembly at various hearings that are held”, Izak says away.

However, poetry and texts will remain her great love, with which she continues and lives every day.
