Kosovo police, with the aim of reducing traffic accidents, appeal to all traffic participants, in particular car drivers, to be cautious and alert during the direction of their vehicles.
Police especially require attention in this period when we have an atmosphere, where there may be restrictions on visibility, exposure to frosts, roads become more slippery, and travel along the streets becomes difficult.
According to the communiqué, drivers are said to have to own winter equipment and respect rules stemming from the traffic law.
Kosovo's “Police with its units continue to monitor and manage the situation in road traffic across all roads in the country, and where participants conflict with traffic rules, legal penalties will be applied in order to prevent cases of especially accidents that are fatally showing concern for all and causing human lives to be”, the communiques say.
