On February 27th, Japanese fighter planes rose in the air to transmit a Russian fighter plane over the Sea of Japan. According to Japanese Air Force (JASDF), Russian surveillance aircraft was flying over the Sea of Japan and was caught by military radars, but it was also clarified that the Japanese air space was not violated by Russian aircraft.
Even Russian authorities have confirmed this case, while saying flight of the plane has been military exercises on the Sea of Japan and that flight has not violated international aviation regulations.
“State borders have not been violated”, the Russian ministry said in the communique.
Military aircraft SU-35 is used for monitoring and obtaining information.
