The social media company, especially Facebook Inc and Twitter Inc, are close to finding a way to prevent what it refers to as “the information battle” in their services, reports “Reuters”, Periscopi broadcast.
The inclusion of 13 Russian citizens in US electrolytic elections in 2016 has prompted Facebook and the Instagram to take concrete steps to prevent interventions in the upcoming US presidential elections.
The US intelligence agency has said Russia is trying to undermine the election elections in 2018, again using social media and propaganda distribution.
