Daciq for the Special Court: Serbia willing to bear testimony to those who committed crimes

Serbia's Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic, has spoken to the UN Security Council about dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, as he stressed the agreement signed on establishing the Serbian Communist Association. According to him, there have been more than four years since the agreement to make the AKS has been signed, but that this has not yet been carried out by Kosovo institutions.
“It is said that the Serb municipality will be established, I have signed this agreement myself in 2013, or as the Brussels agreement is called signed with Hashim Thaci and Catherine Ashton. It is vital for Serbia because Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are provided and protected. Serbia has been waiting for Pristina to fulfill its duties for four and a half years. On 13 security meetings no one has called on Pristina to implement these, only steps have been taken back so far. Even no sign of what the steps will be like in establishing this association. Serbia has played its role and implemented its obligations. Serbia is willing to continue the dialogue, but it will be questioned whether there will be any wind agreement, when after 4 and a half years we still talk about the establishment of the AK.”, he said, the Indexline reported.
Special emphasis, Dacic has even given Oliver Ivanovic's assassination in Mitrovica, calling it a terrorist act for which Kosovo institutions have not yet brought any leads.
” Oliver Ivanovic head of the Civic Initiative in Mitrovica Kosovo has been killed and his gene has made security worse. Ivanovic's murder is a keyly darker act that jeopardises not only the security situation in Kosovo and Metohija, but Serbian leaders have also called for its calm and stabilisation. On January 22nd, President Vuciq has visited Serbs in Kosovo to maintain stability and peace, stressing that all problems must be solved with dialogue. Serbia has submitted requests EULEX and UNMIK convinced they will help find the truth. It has been rejected by Kosovo and Metohija's provisional governance. They've wanted them to investigate, but even after three weeks after the murder there's still nothing. There's indiscretion to solving this crime. The security situation is tailed and sensitive”, Daciq said away, reports Indexline.
He has also talked about the attempt to abolish the Special Court. Dacic has indicated that crimes cannot remain unpunished and that Serbia is willing to offer all evidence it has in terms of KLA members who have committed crimes.
“Political parties have been trying to abolish the law for the Posacme Chambers that were founded for investigating crimes committed by UCK members. The secretary-general's report expresses deep disappointment. The American ambassador has said that any initiative will have a profound impact on European integration, especially on relations with the US. The German ambassador has warned that the decision to abolish the law could make relations with the EU worse. Can't remain the unpunished crimes. Serbia is willing to offer evidence it has. Serbia will continue to pursue those for whom evidence of the crimes it has committed. We can't release these people to their criminal responsibility”, he said.
