American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), in its Twitter profile, has organised a quiz for its followers.
Among the questions are considered between two questions the CIA has chosen and related to our country, Kosovo, while questions are conveyed to the hashtag #OpeningCeremony (the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics) where Kosovo for the first time is presented equal to other states and represented by only one racer, skier Albin Tahiri, Koha.net reports.
One question is about the official currency Kosovo uses, while others about the origin of the name Kosova.
In the question of the origin of our country's name, four options, all names of birds, have been chosen in response.
And the answer received most of the answers was that “Blackbird”, or in Albanian “But the media in Serbia have already taken the mountain for this because Serbia claims the name Kosovo comes from the Serbian word “kos”, which means “bog black” or even “primary”.
Even the CIA has confirmed that the correct answer to the question of the origin of the name of Kosovo is “Zog of Montenegro”. Kosovo's “name stems from the Serbian word for this bird, which is APUos”, writes the CIA.
The CIA's site in this case has offered additional information saying that “Kosovo is the second country in the world to use the map on its national flag as a design element. The Cyprus flag is the other”.
