The brick - made house has been turned into a crime scene after the fire had completely destroyed it.
The burned bodies, which have not yet been identified, were not discovered until the house in Canberra was checked on this afternoon for the second time, reports “DailyMail”, the Periscope broadcast.
Police detective Scott Moller said the fire was not an accident.
The “Traders are that fire is deliberately set,” he said.
Detectives are not sure whether the wife and two children were trapped inside or killed before the house was lit.
Neighbors said the dead mother was believed to be 30-year-old and two five-year-old children.
