The prime minister's chief of staff, who once heads technical dialogue with Serbia, Avni Arifi, has tried to clarify about the high number of Kosovo delegation people who remained in Brussels for two days.
Arifi has said that the information about what was discussed at yesterday's meeting in Brussels will have the EU office. But he's explained why he went to the 12th.
This is Arifi's complete writing:
Dear friends,
We, yesterday in Brussels, completed two-day talks with representatives of the Serbian state mediated by the EU. How the talks went along we agreed that the comments would be made to the EU information offices. For the sake of correctness I'll stick to this agreement and apologize to all those journalists who these days were looking for information that I couldn't answer.
I feel it necessary to make a clarification regarding the composition of the Kosovo delegation. Only three political representatives (Ardianis Arifaj, Blerand Stavileci and Andrew Shala) participated in this delegation that I am leading. All other members of the delegation are field experts, and the only criterion of participation has been expertise for the field, functional positions within the relevant institution with the agreement and previous participation in this important process for Kosovo. In this case, I thank the secretary general of the MD, MAPH and MPB, the state official for IBM, the officials of COST, officials from the Kosovo Judiciary Council, the ARBK official, and other officials who, with their expertise and dedication to the process, have this process taken the right direction and epilogue.
