World 2022, how thousands of Albanians are contributing to the establishment of stadiums in Qatar

Qatar's Ambassador to Tirana Ibrahim Hashim al-Sada in an interview said there are thousands of Albanians working in Qatar in the construction of new stadiums for the 2022 World.

In conversation with journalist Arber Hitaj on the “Passport” in Scan.tv he identified economic co-operation between the two countries, while stressing the will to strengthen and further co-operation.

There is a Joint Co-operation Agreement between the two countries for the employment of Albanians in the state of Qatar. In fact, there are no official statistics on the number of Albanian workers in Qatar because some enter and others emerge according to the volume of the works, but in total, their number exceeds several thousand.

Albanians in Qatar work in many fields and not only in construction. Many of them are employed in the service sectors, such as the hotel, etc.”, have found Hashim in his interview.
