Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseline will travel to the US on Wednesday.
As Koha.net learns from sources within the Parliament, Wessel will remain there for several days, while he is expected to have meetings with senior US State Department officials.
This visit, according to the source, will be realised before the December 14th session, where bills transforming the KSF into the Army will be brought to a vote.
Wessel is taught that US travel will develop it to co-ordinate works with the American state before the drafts of the Army are voted in, as well as to sign some agreements to supply weapons to the Kosovo Army.
“The purpose of the visit is co-ordination with American partners before the formation of the military, then US assistance to build military capacities”, said this source for Koha.net.
The head of the Assembly is taught there will be meetings at the Pentagon, in the White House and in Iowa.
