Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, the army vote from the Kosovo Assembly, is expected to wait at military bases in the border security area. The establishment of the Kosovo Army has prompted Serbia to alarm that it poses the biggest danger for the region.
Vucic has acknowledged that opportunities are slim, but has attracted the attention of both the international community and Kosovo, not to humiliate Serbia.
According to him, NATO has the responsibility to stop the Kosovo Army, but Serbia's leader believes this will not happen, as the US and Britain back Kosovo. Vucciq has said that against such power he will not fight.
The one, among other things, the prime minister of Kosovo, has called him citizens of Serbia.
No one should humiliate us, since neither Serbs nor Serbia will tolerate this. Neither Haradinaj nor the internationals can lead Serbia. All this is happening has support, but it's illegal. We will react quietly, without threats, and we will try to preserve peace”, he said.
Serbia was also alarmed because of NATO's moves to northern Kosovo, whose officials called it only one exercise.
The Serbian president has met with the chief of the UN mission, UNMIK, in Kosovo, complain about Kosovo's actions.
Retired agency journalist and analyst Reuters, Jassha Schcekic, says threats have no real power to turn into conflict.
Serbia has once tried to fight against the whole world and we all know how it went. I think reactions will be verbal, but there is no will for war and these actions in Kosovo are the result of frozen conflict. Wartime has passed”, Scheckic said.
