Thaci: We will respect President Trump's letter, reach agreement with Serbia

As has happened in recent months, Thaci has been focused on his speech being focused on dialogue and reaching a final agreement with Serbia. Kosovo, the president said, will respect President Donald Trump's letter.

Thaci, has said Kosovo is ready for an agreement with Serbia, and says reconciliation has been reached between members of the negotiating team and him.

He said the negotiating team has its full support.

“Now is the negotiating team voted in the Kosovo Assembly, has legitimacy. This negotiating team will have my full support. Even today at the meeting with QUINT ambassadors, we have stressed indiscriminately, that Kosovo is ready for dialogue, that Kosovo is committed to reaching a final agreement and that Kosovo is committed to respecting American President Donald Trump”'s letter, he said.

With the final agreement reached, Thaci said Serbia recognises Kosovo, Resolution 1244 will be abolished and Kosovo membership in the UN. /Periscopi/
