Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, at the end of his speech, has said that all political forces in the country are unique to make the deserved decision, that the KSF, even by law adopted by the Assembly of Kosovo, be transformed into a professional army.
The Kosovo Parliament's “Deputes will solemnly make the decision on this process. The Kosovo Security Force has developed into a professional force, prepared according to NATO standards, with multiethnic composition and gender merit representation. The involvement of any community in the Kosovo Security Force sends the best possible message. It shows the values and principles of our society”, he said.
According to President Thaci, The KSF is the most trusted institution for the citizens of Kosovo, so as president and Supreme Commander of the Kosovo Army is proud of their achievements and successes.
“I'm grateful to each of you for the ongoing contribution you have made, so that we can reach here”, he said.
