Specific companies involved have not been appointed. But it becomes known that the Chinese entity that took away trade secrets is a screenmaker.
Besides stealing secrets, the supplier has reportedly sold 3D and other equipment to the Chinese company, which violated its non-intelligence agreement (NDA) with Samsung.
China is trying to increase its national intellectual property, as part of a campaign known as China 2025, which aims to boost China's role as a producer and not just an founder. This campaign is part of the push for Trump's trade war, because the US really doesn't want China to take the role of IP producers.
