The statement says that Pristina's “Aeroport has been closed since May 6th 1999”.
According to her, this status of Pristina Airport is still in effect in Serbia.
The statement adds that the issue of air traffic normalisation in Kosovo is being considered within the framework of international forums in which Serbia actively participates.
“As a result of these talks, in 2014 the upper layer of Kosovo airspace has been opened with what it has allowed butterflies to pass through this space. Talks are under way at forums to open Kosovo's lower air space layer” complete the statement.
Perhaps it will commemorate that this airport is really closed, but only to Serbia.
