Pacolli in Gambi meets with president and counterpart from this state APUs bilateral co-operation agreement signed

Within the framework of mini-tour on the African continent and with the goal of advancing relations with African countries, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli is staying in Gambi.
In that case, according to an announcement, Minister Pacolli has met with top state representatives, the president and minister of foreign affairs of this country, respectively.
“In the initiative of this visit, Minister Pacolli met with the president of this state, Adama Barrow, who confirmed his support for the Republic of Kosovo on the road to its deepening efforts to relations with this country, as well as other African continent states. President Barrow also promised his country's steadfast support in all processes of international affirmation of the Republic of Kosovo”, the report said.
But according to the announcement, at a meeting with his counterpart, Gamby Foreign Affairs Minister Mamadou Tangara, who had communicated recognition to the Republic of Kosovo from Gambia years ago, Pacolli and Tangara agreed to identify the areas of concrete co-operation between the two countries.
“As a result of intensive communication preceding this visit, Pacolli and Tangara signed the agreement, which will deepen political and diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Gambia. The same agreement will intensify and deepen the ties between our two peoples. During this visit, Gambia reaffirmed her commitment to supporting Kosovo in all its diplomatic goals, and in this context, Minister Tangarra promised that he would soon visit Kosovo”, it is said further in the statement.
At the end of the announcement, it is also aimed at informing African countries in terms of developments in the Balkan region, and especially serving constructive communication against false news, which some irresponsible acts plan to damage relations between independent and sovereign countries.
