Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's request for lowering the price of oil and reporting that in Kosovo this price is higher in proportion to the world market have prompted the reaction of the Oil Association, which they say is the freest in the region, excluding Macedonia.
The chairman of this association, Fadil Berjan, said at a media conference that oil in Kosovo is cheaper and reports that in Kosovo the price of oil is 30 cents higher than in the countries of the region are untrue.
In addition, he also showed the prices that are in Kosovo and the region, where during today's Kosovo day, according to him, oil has been sold 1.10 litres, and 1.11 per litre.

Beryan announced that during the day, they had a meeting with the prime minister, who was informed correctly of the oil market.
According to him, during this meeting the prime minister had shown understanding even to their demands.
And Laftif Kryeziu, by Al-Perol-Shell, assured all citizens that there is no agreement between oil price-making businesses.
There is never a deal, from here we invite the authority of competition to investigate because there is nothing to hide”, he said.
As for prices, Kryeziu said the profit is low, because competition is too big.
While, for lowering prices at several points, he said they have done so for certain personal reasons.
