The Sisters of Honor, Mary Headper and Lana Chang, had received money from the Catholic school St. James in Torrance, near Los Angeles, from a school fund for payment and donations.
The leader and Chang, who have recently retired, have expressed regret over their actions.
The headman was a principal in that school for 29 years, while Chang served for some 20 years as a teacher. They have reportedly been stealing money over a decade and spending it on trips and casinos.
On Monday, the St James Catholic Church has announced that sisters of honor are deeply sorry for their actions, adding that the police have been informed, while there will be no indictment of double crimes.
