Former football player and former FFK leader Vokrri died on June 9th this year following a heart attack, two years after having joined Kosovo in the two main international football governing bodies, FIFA and UEFA.
To honor his image in the case of the sixth-month anniversary, the Kosovo Football Federation has indicated that there will be homazes at its grave today at 12: 00 a.m.
Vorri began his soccer career with Llap, but his debut as a professional football player with Pristina in 1980. His 15-year career sent him to Partizan, Nimes, Fenerbahce, Bouges 18. At the end of his career in 1995, he retired to Montlucon Club.
After his impressive career as footballer, Vokrri assumed responsibility for the position of president of the Kosovo Football Federation on February 16, 2008, and held that position until his death.
Vorkri paved the way for success shown in the League of Nations, where Kosovo was promoted by League D in League C and secured a place in play-offs for qualifications at the European Championship. Thanks to his work at the FFK, Kosovo joined UEFA and FIFA in May 2016.
