The real crime documentary series was released on December 14th and is based on Robert Mayer's 2006 book of John Grisham, by the same name as The Dreams of Ada (1987).
With comparisons between Making and Murderer and Genius Evil, the series is about the two murders that rocked the small town of Ada in Oklahoma in the 1980s, writes Radio Urban FM.
The murders occurred two years apart, with the first victim to be 21-year-old Debra Sue ébbye Carter, who was brutally murdered at her home in 1982. The second murder, in 1984, occurred when 24 - year - old worker shop named Denise Haraway was kidnapped from her workplace.
Four men Tommy Ward, Carl Fontenott, Ron Williams and Dennis Fritz were charged with murder. A particular focus is how one of these men was held to death for 11 years while a man who raped and killed a woman was free for years.
Since the case is already closed and is one of the most famous examples of a failed judicial system, the innocent man puts the judicial system back into trial. It is a fitting time for a show to highlight the subject.
