A bill in the review procedure in the Parliament requires investigation into the communist past of public officials, from the president of state to school directors, writes Koha Ditore.
The bill to clean up the image of senior officials of public institutions and of elected has 30 articles and, according to initials, its contents are in the spirit of Council of Europe Resolution 1481.
It aims to address society's past in the Yugoslav communist system and that the actors of that system limit its responsibility to public institutions. In addition, to resolve “morally rehabilitation” all those who because of their political beliefs have suffered the injustices done by that system.
