The post-war in Kosovo recognised other heroes.
Not a small number of policemen lost their lives, and two of them fell heroicly in defense of the order, law and territorial sovereignty.
Izet Demaj, former member of The KLA in the battle of Kostare, which then served in the Kosovo Police, remained without signs of life today during a shootout exchange with the Istog robbers.
The same guy was shot with a hail of bullets in his body.
The key institutional leaders reacted in the case. For Demey, the superiority of Kosovo's hero was not spared.
Kosovo's “, unfortunately, lost a brave policeman at the helm of duty”, President Thaci wrote on Facebook.
Kosovo with another hero was announced even on July 26th 2011.
The policeman, Enver Zymber, later dubbed Kosovo hero, was shot by a Serb sniper in the country's north.
Zymber was shot at the Kosovo Special Unit action in the northern part of the country, which was aimed at removing barricades imposed by Serbian citizens.
After the first shot, which resulted to be fatal for Zymber, had followed other fires in the direction of the Kosovo Police, but fortunately with no other consequences.
Enver Zymber has already been declared a Kosovo hero.
Two of the other policemen, Amend Train and Malsor Dash, were on duty when they lost their lives.
They fell into the Lepenc River after an accident at the Kacanik-Han of Elez, while after several days of searching they were found without signs of life.
Kosovo police on numerous occasions have shown themselves able to take office.
For this, this institution is valued as one of the most creditable of the country's citizens.
