Metro has learned from diplomatic sources that the European Union has offered this dual condition to Kosovo and Serbia.
Kosovo, according to sources at the Kosovo Embassy in Brussels, should choose to establish the army or keep the customs duty on Serbia.
Serbia has the same condition, but they are required to accept the army, or, on the contrary, to stay tax on Serbia.
“Taxa should leave at least 3 months, if Kosovo wants to create the army”, says the source of Metro newspaper in Brussels.
Among other things, it is taught that this condition was proposed by US Secretary Mike Pompeii, whom the EU has accepted, even though America was sponsor of military creation.
Otherwise, Parliament head Kadri Veselini, as well as Prime Minister Haradinaj, said the army will be voted in second reading on December 14th, but today Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the army is becoming at an inappropriate time and stressed there will be consequences.
