Being co-chairman of dialogue with Serbia, his party chief for Kamenica chairman, St. Kastrati, is an advantage for the state of Kosovo, because Shpend Ahmeti has the knowledge and courage to confront the Serbian state.
Subheader The PSD, Kastrati stands out as Shpend Ahmeti's approach differs from all others.
Kamenica's chairman says Ahmeti will testify that he will have a corresponding role that will include all those he needs, including civil society for dialogue with Serbia.
According to him, unlike those who lack courage, the capital's first should take advantage of its capacity and potential in Kosovo's service.
I think Shpend Ahmeti is extremely shot to help, co-directing this state delegation. He has proved that his approach is more approachable and would include, create the opportunity to include all we need, except the subjects that are in the Kosovo Parliament... I think he has the courage, the problem is with those who are not. Mayor Ahmeti, I really appreciate that he is showing that he has the willingness and courage to exploit his capacity and potential, but also his subject, to us, for something that is Kosova”, the first Kamenica municipality said.
Regarding content within the resolution, he stressed that it is very contextary. It considers the referendum important. According to him, already for any decision in dialogue with Serbia, the citizen will be asked.
As for critics of this resolution, Kastrati said it is all being done for specific purposes and to misinterpret citizens.
“We have to understand here, it's not going to be separate names, the state delegation allows all subjects who are represented in the country to participate and decisions will be made by consensus. What's very important is that the referendum is presented, so for the first time in Kosovo, an agreement with Serbia citizens gave me their opinion, whether it's okay or not. Normally, the Kosovo Assembly must take the opinion of citizens, under which it issues the decision of any agreement it has with the Serbian state. For me, these goals are very low that as certain individuals, certain subjects try to profit or misinform only to achieve profit for themselves, or as subject to”, Kastrati added.
In contrast, for refusing two opposition parties for co-ordination in dialogue with Serbia, Kastrati has indicated that these are trying to benefit from the situation and are looking at personal interests.
According to him, the fear of the LDK and VV is unstable, because, as he says, no international agreement can pass without the majority in the Assembly.
For me, this is a problem because you're thinking only of yourself, where you want to be, and you have to take advantage of a situation... state agreements are a matter of the Kosovo Assembly. I don't understand when someone, especially the LDK and VV, are worried about something that has come to the Assembly and has to be voted by them. International agreements should be voted by two-thirds, eighty MPs, no agreement is possible to be made without LDK or VV” votes, he has indicated.
As for the PSD's expansion on the ground, Kamenica's chairman believes the party he represents will achieve an important role in the political scene in the upcoming elections.
Kastrati considers that the PSD is made up of the most capable people who have been in Vetevendosje Movement, as he says, the entire VV skeleton has been passed on to the PSD.
“is actually going well with the PSD on the ground, normally these topics that some of the citizens get but there are very interested in getting involved in a socialecratic subject, and it's important that the LVV skeleton is now unfortunately out of this subject because of LVV's approach. Let's not forget that those people have enormous experience and knowledge, how politics are made, and how they are organized”, Kastrati said.
Otherwise, along with Shpend Ahmeti, the state delegation's co-chairman for talks with Serbia is Fatmir Limaj.
