A few minutes after Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli issued charges on opposition parties -- LDK and Vetevendosje -- which, according to him, are not becoming part of Dialogue with Serbia with the sole aim of wanting to be in power -- has reacted to LDK GP chief Avdullah Hoti.
The LDK official said that Wessel one day insults the opposition, the next day he prayed for unity while another day he ran into an MP.
“Z. Wessel, one day offended the opposition, the other day he prayed for unity, and another time he ran into an MP”, Hoti wrote on Facebook.
Unification, according to him, is achieved with recognition of the responsibility each has in its respective capacities, while asking Wessel to accept responsibility for, as said, “the coalition's failures PAN has brought Kosovo this year”.
“He must accept that coalition PAN has no power to rule in a democratic manner with Kosovo. He must admit that as the Speaker of the Parliament has failed to enable the normal functioning of the Parliament, as all hearings at the autumn session, from September 13th 2018 onward, are open”, Hoti noted, Koha.net reports.
On the other hand, the LDK's chief of deputies said that Wessel, instead of accepting these responsibilities, “ai traded with the state budget to secure votes for the first-read budget passage of 2019. Meanwhile, the second reading is postponed in the following year, creating difficulties in executing spending early in the coming year”.
We, Hoti said, are working to unify the political scene to change this type of governance and that, he says, “we have reached”.
Today's <x0)Oposion is much more powerful than the coalition PAN, both numbers in the Assembly and citizen support. The future governance of this opposition will structurally address all the damages that the coalition has. PAN has made Kosovo in only one year of governance. Kosovo needs government working for the next 20 years, not opportunistic politicians who weigh their every move in relation to possible votes in the next elections”, LDK Parliamentary Group chief Avdullah Hoti said in the end. /Periscopi
