Residents of the new “Unaza”, Shkoza, as well as student groupings, have recently sparked a wave of protests in the Albanian capital.

Thousands of citizens are protesting to protect their homes from defaulting, while students oppose increased university tariffs, the Shekulli reports.

Meanwhile, the streets of Tirana are “seized” from images and slogans where deputies and former government ministers “Rama” are named as “Narcos”. Edi Rama, Saimir Tahiri, Taulant Balla and others are compared to the major drug dealer, Pablo Escobar.
